Lignite Gas Could Power Industry For Four Centuries
At the University of North Dakota a new gas from lignite, refined by the U.S. Bureau of Mines and UND, promises vast power for 400 years. A single large gas bottle converts most lignite into water gas, with uses including gasoline, diesel, alcohol, ammonia, waxes, and even edible fats.

Homes Turn Orange From Sewer Fumes Near Base
