Deputies Issue First Citation In Traffic Case
The sheriff's office began its traffic warning system with one warning issued to John J. Agnes for faulty brakes after his truck hit William D. Markley. The stop at the Canton Massillon and Whipple roads intersection marked the new program's start, with future warnings leading to court citations after the third warning. Police and deputies arrested nine motorists for various violations, including reckless driving and speeding, and issued multiple signal light and stop sign summonses.
