Submarine sighted off Port Aransas Texas early today

The navy reported a submarine seen near Port Aransas at 9 am. It was not clear if enemy but believed likely. The vessel submerged at coordinates 27 46 N 99 48 W. Port Aransas, on Mustang Island, lies about 25 miles east of Corpus Christi and hosts a major air training station.
