Girl Hit by Car Near Belle Stone School
Barbara Beatty, 10, of 1123 Spangler Rd NE, suffered possible skull fracture and leg injury after being struck by a car driven by William A. McNees 73, as she ran across Rowland Ave NE in front of Belle Stone School at 11 30 a.m. She received treatment and X rays at Mercy Hospital. McNees lives at 2109 Rowland Ave across from the school.
