Couple dies together after 44 years of marriage
A 73-year-old Indiana born couple, Clarence Guy Evans and his wife, died within 41 hours of each other in Los Angeles. They were married 44 years and their double funeral was held today. Mrs Evans died Christmas night of coronary thrombosis. Mr Evans died two days later of arterial sclerosis. Their son Raymond said he was grateful neither knew the other's death and noted their anniversary would have been New Year's Eve.
