Stark County toll rises to 14 with the death of Fred Day Burris a 66 year old Alliance resident from 155 Ricest Alliance. He died at 8 15 a m in Alliance City Hospital after a week old accident on Route 619 near Bolton. Debuties report Burris traveling east when his car hit a machine driven by Robert E Easter 54 of RD 1 Atwater on a curve. Easter said Burris was speeding and on the wrong side. Burris car went over a five foot embankment 135 feet from the crash. Burris leaves a wife two daughters a twin sister a brother and four grandchildren.
