Creek change proposal eyed by Caldwell leaders
Caldwell residents weigh diverting Indian Creek from its current channel a mile and a half above town toward Canyon hill to join Settlers canal. Proponents say costs would be nominal and benefits many, including improved town appearance. City engineers urged to prepare a preliminary survey and cost estimate. The Creek is viewed as an eyesore, and a clearance would benefit Caldwell significantly.

Carpenters are at work on two new residences in the Welber addition one for Dr. Miller and the other for J L Phillips. W D Hall and family moved to Boise this week. Mrs M Mudgett who had been visiting at her brother in law's home went to Weiser to visit her son.
