Former Caldwell minister takes Roswell pastorate

Rev Agee, formerly of Caldwell, has accepted the pastorate of the Baptist church in Roswell and has begun duties. A royal reception followed Thanksgiving in the church parlors as his congregation welcomes him. Agee and colleagues look forward to extensive work in the field.

Sunday Law Case Sets Constitutional Ruling on Rest

The Idaho Sunday rest law is deemed constitutional by the state supreme court in an opinion by Justice Stewart withChief Justice Aulshé and Justice Sullivan concurring. The ruling affirmed a lower court verdict in the case of Idaho v Dolan, holding that Sunday business except in absolute necessity must cease. Cook Hartley Wedding in Caldwell Home

Miss Nellie Cook and Mr. Thoma Hartley wed Wednesday afternoon at the brides parents home with Rev. B W Rice officiating. They left for Boise and will reside in Middleton upon return. Fatal Shooting In Roswell Beach Home

William Russel, a 27 year old Canadian arrival, was mortally wounded by 16 or 17 year old Sam Simpson at Simpson’s Roswell beach home during supper. The loaded shotgun misfired when Simpson returned to the door and fired, tearing Russell’s face. a shot grazed another man. Dr Cluen fears poor recovery though Russell remains alive. The incident is blamed on a thoughtless boy who did not know the gun was loaded.
