The Young Men of Ohio met at the United States Court House in Columbus to discuss the January 8 proceedings and plan for the coming campaign. Officers were elected, a five member resolutions committee named, and statements urged support for paper currency opposition to privileged classes. The meeting urged enlistment for war and education of youth in democratic principles.
