Store Bandits Fire On Sheriff After Robbery in Logan County
Jamestown May 25 Myron Hates 21 farmer from Logan county is jailed in Stutsman county with twenty two shots in his head. Edwin Sparks also jailed after a wholesale robbery of a Gloveland store in Stutsman county Wednesday night. The stolen goods were found on a farm. The men attempted to escape and were pursued by Sheriff Balzer. Sparks surrendered but both sides fired. Pomroy was hit by a shotgun blast in the head.
