Young Farmer Clarence Kordahl Killed Under Car
Stanley North Dakota May 10. Clarence Kordahl a popular young farmer was instantly killed this morning while repairing his automobile. The rear of the car had been raised and the jacks slipped letting the car down on him crushing his chest. His brother Walter found him dead after rushing from the fields to help. The doctor said death was instantaneous.

Young horse thief escapes Minot jail in daylight
Jaron Longre, a self confessed horse thief, escaped from Ward county jail around eight oclock Saturday morning. He fled east into Riverside park then back into the city and boarded a freight train to leave. Longre previously stole horses and a wagon near Berthold and was paroled after a prior conviction before breaking parole again. Authorities chase him as a desperate criminal.
