Ward County Records Reveal Road and Tax Actions in 1909 Meeting
Ward County Commissioners meet in April 1909 approving seed grain grants for residents Herman Meller Christ Swenson James Larson Alex Pauhu and others. They designate mortgaged chattel sale sites and order tax abatements for Mary Breslin and William for abatement reasons. They discuss road and bridge petitions across townships 161 to 152 with numerous sites from the Des Lacs river to Smith Creek and appoint hospital and courthouse committees.
