Fed Hansen aided H H Hansen in calf butchering on Wednesday. Kenmare hosts include Mrs Lawrence Jegsen and family on Wednesday afternoon and a surprise birthday party for Grace Carlson. Grace’s party featured games and lunch, with Vivian Jessen delivering oats for grinding. Various Hansen, Jessen, and King Johnson families visitations and a measles case noted, alongside a weekend visit from Willie Walters of Palermo.
Township board met at new clerk Fred Hansen’s home on Tuesday. Numerous residents visited, including Thorval Petersen at the H H Hansen home and Edward and Anton Nelson at an auction east of Kenmare. Services planned for Bethany Lutheran at 10:20 Sunday. Dozens of local residents listed as callers at various homes and mines, with multiple notes on visits, births, and a March 15 township election at School No. 3. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Loula Bakke on Saturday March 18.
County Auditor G. K. Melby announced Tuesday morning that 200 sets of federal loan blanks have arrived for needy farmers. Applications mortgage vouchers will be mailed by the auditor, with checks sent directly to farmers not exceeding 200 dollars. Interest is five percent, lower than county seed and feed loans at six percent. Funds must buy seed for 1921 sowing and be secured by mortgage on the crop. two county commissioners or one commissioner and the auditor must sign the back certificate.

Prom staff reporter notes West Prince visiting Charlie Post at home while Johnny Busch works in Greenup coal mine. A surprise party at Knute Hermanson home Saturday evening featured dancing and cards. Christ Steen returns to farm south of Lignite after renting Lars Langan’s Columbia farm. Geneva Hermanson and siblings visited Port al, then stopped at Paul Moritz of Lignite on the way home.
