Forman Obituary of William Hurly Hurly dies suddenly at home

The Forman Independent News reports the sudden death of William Hurly at his Forman home last Saturday morning after a day of normal activity. Hurly, a longtime local business figure connected with Hurly Bros. and the Forman newspaper scene, left a large family and many friends in mourning. He had lived in Milnor and Forman, North Dakota, and served in local politics and community organizations. The funeral was held at the Congregational church with honors from several lodges.

Stolen Colts Recovered and Man Sentenced

Four years ago a transient laborer Burns stole three horses near Loina Harding and moved them to the Manitoba region. Two were recovered. Burns was tried and served two years in the penitentiary. A valuable colt remains missing and now valued highly.
