Minot detectives charged in hotel blind pig case
In Minot North Dakota February 28 startling court moves involve Peter Ildvedson proprietor of the Waverly hotel charged with second offense of blind pigging. W E Mattingly a detective was arrested on warrants for conspiracy and giving intoxicating liquor to a minor. George Knowles could not be found. Judge Murray initially refused warrants but Judge Leighton ordered them issued after affidavits and complaints were filed. Mattingly and Knowles accused of conspiring to cause Ildvedson to be charged. Attorney General Andrew Miller may take charge. a special prosecutor may be appointed. Knowles remains at large despite a citywide search.

Andrew Peterson a 41 year old Columbus laborer was arrested by City Marshal James B Rohla and examined for sanity by the insanity board. He was committed to the Jamestown hospital after threats toward his daughter and alleged alcohol induced delusions involving God. He is married with eight children, youngest ten months old. He was taken to Jamestown hospital by Warren Heath and Marshal Rohla.

Bowbells schools cannot be improved
