Banker's son shoots father and turns gun on self in North Dakota bank
Rex Wallace, just arrived from St Paul, killed H. W. Wallace in the First National bank of Drayton, wounded J. R. Strong, then fatally shot himself. Strong and others aided by Victor Hanson and Ben Wallace evacuated to a hospital. Constable Barton found both men alive but unable to speak. the elder died en route. Weather and local notes follow.

Arne Amundson arraigned in Minor North Dakota district court on a second degree rape charge. Defense demurred the complaint, sought venue change, and Judge Leighton ordered transfer to Williams County then Divide County for trial. Trial set for June at Crosby before Judge Leighton.
