Hettinger North Dakota June 24 a 14 year old girl daughter of Mr and Mrs H E Collicott was accidentally shot in the left thigh by her father who was preparing a rifle for a rabbit hunt He did not know the gun was loaded and had just pumped a load into the barrel when the gun discharged striking the girl near the thigh The ball was removed by Dr Johns and the bone of the leg was not injured The wound is painful but not serious and the cartridge was a 32 caliber long rifle shot
