Jensen Farm House Burns in Lucy Township
The Jensen family home in Lucy township burned to the ground last Wednesday around one o'clock. Mrs. Jensen had briefly left to prepare a dairy area, and a neighbor boy and hired man were nearby. Fire destroyed the structure and its contents with an estimated loss near 3000 dollars, partially insured, origin undetermined.

Railroads to charge excess baggage by inch limits
St Paul reports that starting July 1 railroads will levy five pounds for each additional inch of trunk space beyond 45 inches maximum, with 150 pounds free if kept in a trunk not exceeding 46 inches in any direction.
