Thieves broke into Taylor Drug Company at 117 North Main, Minot, during Sunday night or early Monday, escaping with 410 dollars from the safe. They entered via a rear barred window, manipulating the combination to unlock the safe. No checks or the 200 dollar bill were taken. cash vanished while a 250 dollar check stash was left untouched. Police seek clues as alarm sounded and neighbors aided. Coroner and officials declared the death at a separate scene accidental.

Gasoline Tank Explosion Kills Blacksmith in Rolla
Rolla North Dakota June 4 George Devereaux of McKay and Devereaux general blacksmiths was killed instantly when a gasoline tank he was repairing exploded. Canute Lafrance brought the tank to the shop to have the faucet soldered a brief delay and miscue caused gasoline to remain in the tank. The blast blew out both ends and Devereaux died instantly with his head fatally injured. Kyle McKay and Mrs McKay suffered minor injuries from the blast and shock. The accident preceded stories urging local moving pictures and catalog offers from Martin’s in Coteau.
