Langdon North Dakota June 30. Mrs Matt Holum was found dead in the Holum farm barn eight and a half miles northeast of Milton Cavalier county. Snake of Unusual Size Takes Possession of Depot
At Sanborn North Carolina on June 28 a five foot two inch snake with a girth of a man’s arm entered the depot waiting room and remained overnight until a brakeman killed it the next morning. The harmless reptile, noted to be unfamiliar to local residents, is said to have frightened rats and rattlers and caused authorities to seal off adjacent connections while a window exit was used to leave.
