A masked mob stormed the Williams County Jail in Williston North Dakota dragged Cleve Culbertson a Liplo murderer from his cell and hanged him from the Muddy River bridge after beating him and firing multiple shots. Police and guards were overpowered as the crowd tore through the jail and dragged Culbertson to death.

Hunter found dead after crossing barbed wire fence

In Bismarck North Dakota on December 18 John Carlton aged 19 was found dead yesterday afternoon about a half mile from home after a hunting accident last Friday. His gun discharged when the trigger snagged on fence wire. he left behind a large family family ties noted.

Flaxton Man Gets 20 Day in Jail

Sam Mullen a 27 year old hotel clerk at the Siebert in Flaxton pleaded guilty to petit larceny after stealing 10.20 from the hotel funds and fleeing on train 150 to Minot. Convicted by Justice Tertle Nelson he received 30 days in county jail, with earlier fines paid for a prior petty theft. He agreed to work off the fine and costs.

Wohlwend bought them for his farm six miles northeast of town and they are not for sale. He plans future purchases of mares and a stallion. Sheriff Stalmofer recalled a near-miss when his auto on a Carter township bridge failed steering. he stopped, brakes failed, car went off the bridge but the body remained usable and no fatal injury occurred.
