Mrs Helen Hubbard testified that a commission merchant Gus Oliva sent a note to Roscoe Arbuckle’s wife implying a threat to influence her vote, a matter to be presented to the grand jury tonight.

Fargo police seized two stills in Ayr district along with two suspects James Kimble and Ernest Smith. A nickel plated fire extinguisher served as the still with a two gallon kerosene can, coils, brass spout and bottle for dripping. Smith owned the still and Kimble allegedly had 1 gallon of intoxicants and 130 gallons of mash. Both suspects face preliminary examination.
