Miss Eva Hoffman 16 of Dickinson and Miss Bertha Boersner 16 of Minot pried open their dorm door at Mandan reform school, crawled into a box car, and were found later in Hebron. Superintendent Devine went to Hebron to identify and return them. The escape was discovered after morning meals.
