Turtle Lake farmer killed in Velva-Ruso crash
Minot, Aug 28 Ernest Jacopp a 40 year old Turtle Lake farmer was killed when the car he rode in failed to strike a bridge railing on the Velva Ruso road six miles north of Ruso. The car left the bridge landing 25 feet away in a creek. Jacopp left a widow and an 11 year old child. The injured man died about 3 this morning after being taken to a school house for a doctor call. The other occupants were not injured. The party was en route to Velva to catch No 107 for Canada harvest work, driven by Victor Lundquist, son of a Turtle Lake hardware dealer.
