Expert crop report totals spring wheat at 319 million bushels

Minneapolis special reports John Inglis the crop expert has returned from inspecting crops in the three northwestern states and Canadian provinces. He estimates the total spring wheat crop at 319 million bushels with 318 million from spring wheat and 65 million in durum and velvet chaff included in other totals. Canadian crop totals reach 182 million bushels, with Manitoba down and Saskatchewan up slightly. Ontario and other provinces add about 20 million, for a national total of 182 million in Canada.
