Willow City plans two mile ditch to reclaim farmland
A survey for a large drainage ditch east of Willow City is complete and a hearing is set in Bottineau over signing required to proceed. The two mile long channel will run from Ox creek mouth to the Ostby place and be dredged by eastern workers. Once finished it will reclaim hundreds of acres of bay and farm land, greatly aiding local farmers.

Bottineau City Ordinance Sets Fifth Street Walk Rules
The Bottineau North Dakota city council ordains the construction of sidewalks along the north and south sides of Fifth street from Thompson street to Brander street. A sixty foot wagon crossing of cement and sand is required on the south side between the depot platform and Thompson street. North side crossings are set from the east side track of the Great Northern railway to block 70 in Anderson's addition. Gutters are unnecessary.
