Quincy Ohio December 2 Will Cox an employee at the 5 E Wright restaurant mistook a gasoline can for coal oil and poured some onto a stove while lighting a fire. The can exploded but no injuries occurred. Cox is brother in law of David Roberts of Bellefontaine.
Final dividend of 25 percent ordered for partnership creditors of Charles H Odenbaugh Thursday by Referee Rogers. Ten percent dividend to individual creditors. Estate under trustee G M Levy showed a better return than expected with about 70 percent paid on claims and assets totaling about $4000. Belleville area resident Charles H Odenbaugh formerly of Bellecenter. A Pittsburg firm Richmond & Co failed with offices in Buffalo and multiple correspondents across several states and Canada. Civil service exams for city police and departments drew no applicants. L J Wright, contractor near Belle Center, was killed when run over by a train between Lima and Delphos.
