Sheriff raids farm and seizes whiskey near Follett Texas
The sheriff’s force raided Jay Hendricks farm north of Follett and seized fifty five gallons of whiskey in two containers. Arthur Fumer and Tom Hatcher were jailed in county jail and later joined by Jay and Joe Hendrick after a trip to the vicinity. Elmer Tiptin Fred Irvin and Deder Dickaen faced federal charges for manufacturing whiskey, brought by Deputy U.S Marshal A J Thesasher before U.S. Commissioners W Bradwood, with bond set at $600 each for U.S. District Court in Oxotopa City.
