C O Desper visited Beaver on Tuesday with Frank Dram Arthur Daniels and Mendenhill. Dr Duncan was a visiting professional caller from Forgan on Tuesday.
Judge M C Garber, Republican candidate for Congress, spoke to a packed courtroom last night. The crowd applauded as he outlined plain, conservative policies and framed himself as a true agriculturist and man of the people destined to back his program in Congress.
The Beaver Undertaking and Embalming business changes hands as H C Richeson sells to Jack Callaway of Laverne. Richeson, long a trusted local undertaker, must retire due to ill health while Callaway is expected to provide excellent service. Mary Daves visited Beaver from Duck Pond on Tuesday.
Mrs Ellie Righe, returning from Liberal Kawhar with two small children, met a Sunday wreck when a teen steering wheel pin slipped. The car rolled and ended on its top. The two children were thrown free but Mrs Kight was trapped. Rescuers freed her after about an hour. Mr Kight had minor injuries.
