Beavers Club Fair Showed Youth Skill And Community Help
Beaver county held a Boys and Girls Club Fair at the Court House in Beaver on Saturday. About three hundred attended despite rain. Entries came from four clubs Grain Sorghum Poultry Better Bread and Pie. the Canning Club did not exhibit tomatoes. Judges from Oklahoma A&M and local ladies awarded prizes while a matinee was provided by Globe Theater. County officials Supt Ayers and Judge Spohn spoke on club value. top prizes included 500 cash for Willie Savoy Beaver, and smaller cash rewards from local banks and merchants.

Beaver hosted a fall fashion show with four reel pictures, living models displaying hats coats and wear, while a full line of silks waists and lingerie was shown on stage. Farmers Rally at Liberal to Seize Creamery Saturday
The Farmers Equity Union plans to take possession of the Liberal Creamery on Saturday September 29 with a daylong rally of music and speeches by dairy experts. The cooperative will issue 950000 capital stock divided into 100 shares of 150 each and operate to return profits to stockholders. Liberal and Forgan equities have already paid farmers over 106000 in cash profits.

State Fair Trips Planned for Winners and Guests

William Taylor Dead After Liver Ailment At North Main
William Taylor a carpenter and contractor died at his North Main street home last Sunday night after liver illness. He belonged to Maderu Woodman Lodge of Oklahoma City and was cared for by the lodge during final illness. He leaves four wives and several children. Friends extend sympathy to the family. Henry Kile has regained mobility after a long paralysis. Various local notes followed with scattered anecdotes and jokes.
