A home wedding Sunday September 2 1912 united Miss Maw Maple to Dr Emery Trekell of Milan Kansas at the bride’s mother Mrs Martha Be Maple’s house. Rev W B Leonard officiated. The ceremony featured Lohengrin’s Wedding March and a four course breakfast. The couple departed for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls and New York. The bride, a Beaver resident, is praised for grace and service in local circles. The groom, a physician, is a respected Milan citizen.
