Sheriff’s men seize booze and mash near Gate
Deputy Sheriff Bridwell stopped a Ford driven by W E Dodson near Gate and found eight gallons of liquor in a cream can and about fifty gallons of mash hidden at the Dodson farm. Death of P. Emberson was in Hun toon Texas
P Emberson formerly of Beaver died at his home in Hun toon Texas on September 2 1921 at age 41 due to hydropercardine many months illness. Funeral services were held at Blue Mound church near Balko with interment in River Monod cemetery. Rev Ogilvie of Arroyo Valley Farm near Balko delivered the sermon. The beaver Baptist choir sang a duet and hymn. A large Baptist delegation from Beaver attended along with friends. He is survived by wife Mrs. Emberson and children John Lawson and Alvin of Alva. The Beaver Ad extends sympathy to mourning relatives and others.
