Murder in Forgan a Cowardly Back Shot
D C McNeill killed A D Green in the street in Forgan on Friday noon, firing five shots as Green walked by the Bronx Hardware Store. Green, visiting from California, died instantly. bystanders and Deputy Sheriff Frank Shockley witnessed events. Green left a wife and five children, McNeill a bachelor with a troubled reputation. The body was shipped to Wellington, Kansas, with Beaver County mourners lamenting the senseless act.
