The Bureau of Animal Industry of the U S Department of Agriculture buys four more Morgan horses in Meade County Kansas to aid government breeding in Vermont. The purchases include seven year old mare Fanny P and two yearling fillies by Headlight Morgan, plus a foal out of Fanny P. Headlight Morgan is noted as well known in Morgan circles. The Morgan Horse & Jack Company of Beaver sells two half brothers Dr Casto and Dick Allen and a half sister Green Mountain Lucy from Headlight Morgan.
