Big Irrigation Plan Indorsed By State Board Of Agriculture

An irrigation project by Bell and White Irrigation Company seeks water rights on Cimarron river to reclaim over 120000 acres. The reservoir would hold over seven billion cubic feet, enough to cover 180000 acres one foot deep. Dam planned at 126 feet high with cost over 2500000. main canal over 100 miles, eastern end near Bailey Oklahoma.

October Snow Storm Delights Town Amid White Curtain

Trees and shrubs wore a snowy but brief winter scene, while W Groves and family of Madison moved to Roseburg Oregon, seeking a new home among year round roses.

Hyde's Second Trial In Kaneas City Burns Toward Jury

The second trial of De BC Hyde for the murder of Col Thas Swope and the attempted murder of other Swope family members began in Kaneas City last week. Few ven troman have been chosen from 200 taleamen drawn from the jury wheel. It may take a week or more to secure a jury.
