Anniversary of Beaver Presbyterian church celebrated in style
The 21st anniversary events drew a large Beaver crowd over Sunday and Monday October 18 and 19. Rev. R M Overstreet, first pastor now aged about eighty, delighted old pioneer friends with remarks on Christianity in Civilization and Beaver County history. Seated reminiscences by A E Blanchard, W T Quinn, T P Braidwood and others followed, with a closing sermon by Rev Walker and a Monday reception by the Ladies Circle before farewell.
