The Beaver paper announced that State Superintendent R. H. Wilson would speak in Beaver Nectar on October ling day afternoon during the County Fair. A correction states Supt Wilson will speak Saturday. readers are asked to hear him and plan attendance.

District Agent Markland to Speak at County Fair

Agricultural Agent B F Markland will attend the County Fair as a judge and deliver an address to farmers on timely topics Friday. His talk is billed as well worth hearing. Beaver Couple Honored by Friends After Wedding

Bowers Arrested for Bribery in Beaver County Case

After testimony by Joe Bowers in Steck land vs Bowers, 20 percent of road contract funds were said to be paid to County Engineer Myram Tom Melvin George Whitaker and a state highway department clerk. Bowers was arrested on bribery charges and bound over to district court.
