A speaker urges a young man to dam the stream of money by depositing his income in a bank and drawing it as needed. The bank approves this plan and invites deposits to slow spending. The gist is to retard the flow of expenses with banked funds.
The Beaver schools opened Monday with good attendance after a five week flu stoppage. Officials expect the return to normal operation but warn the workload will be heavy as teachers resume tasks and students catch up on missed work.
A federated church committee representing two churches was formed for a three month joint worship period. W T Quinn was elected chairman and W F Carson secretary-treasurer. B Leonard was selected as pastor with F C Smith as chorister and Mrs W G Stranthan as assistant. United services begin November 24 at the Christian church and continue until forties antive ry.
Mr and Mrs W H Thomas left Tuesday morning for Hendley Nebraska urged by family ties through the uncle J Bowker. They traveled overland in their own vehicle and the journey was described as proceeding in good order.
Frese is promoted to a supervisory position over Oklahoma stations and will relocate to Woodward with his family. Rosa Wright will replace Frese, ending his tenure at the Mation. Beaver friends anticipate sadness as the retirement and transfer unfold.
A candidate thanks Beaver County voters for their strong support in the election and pledges to serve the district diligently in the coming term, inviting constituents to call upon him for assistance.
