Beaver Will Play Indians in Cheyenne schedule

A team of Cheyenne Arapaho Indians will play ball with Beaver here Saturday and Sunday May 20 and 21. The visiting players are described as real Red Skins from the Indian reservation.

Baptists plan tabernacle meetings in Beaver town

Rev Ontos Hamblen of Forgan organized Beaver Baptists into a church on March 26 and they expect large gatherings starting May 24 with Evangelina J. L. Bandy and Prof. F. H. Poulter of Wichita assisting the pastor. A tabernacle was erected south of K of P Hall and a permanent church home may follow after the meetings.

Beaverites Slip on Water Wagon Incident at Steen and Douglas

Last Friday a broken ax toppled a street aprinkler wagon at the Steen and Douglas corner. The driver narrowly escaped being crushed but was thrown clear. No serious damage occurred while HG Wage and family, from Logan Tupeday, traded with How ver merchants and checked in at the office.

Beaverton Urges Action Against Traveling Clothing Sellers

Local merchants complain about two sales outfits the Eastern Sample Sales Company and Western Males Company operating in Beaver for a few days. They say the itinerant dealers skim profits, avoid taxes, and deprive legitimate business, calling for a strict city ordinance to regulate or shut them out.
