The car rolled over but the three young men escaped with mild to moderate injuries while Monroe suffered neck bruising and lacerations. Mrs. J E Sparce of Beaver assisted at the scene and Mooney and Monroe were taken for medical care while Cobeldick drove on.
Eight F Earn of Elmwood seeks Democratic nomination for the second district county commissioner seat. He is a Elmwood native and community leader with sixtee n years in Clear Creek. If nominated and elected, he pledges careful attention to county needs and board duties amid Democratic primaries. A local Maxon delegation to Guthrie for Masonic rites was pleased with the visit. J W Culwell added a screened porch to his home.
A Beaver Oklahoma correspondent asks the Herald to correct reported baseball scores from May 6 and May 9 1920. He states Beaver lost 6 2 to Crone Croan Road won the later game and asks the paper to publish the accurate outcomes for Cross Roads and related towns.
