Beav er visitors included Fred Just and wife of Bethany, joined by Henry Heler, recently discharged from Camp Sevier, South Carolina. Emma, the couple’s daughter, and the engaged pair obtained a marriage license and plan to wed May 11 at the Mennonite church in Bethany with a wedding dinner at the bride’s parents home. Herald editor Miss Erma Crabtree and Mr and Mrs W G Branathan of Beaver were invited guests.

Red Cross Branch Reports Progress In Clear Lake

Deathl illness unites couple in Colorado tragedy
Olin Shatter and his wife, formerly of near Forgan, died within hours of each other in Colorado after influenza. Their infant child, left behind, becomes an orphan. The remains were returned to Forgan for funeral and interment in Forgan Cemetery. W T Quinn and C M Barr returned from Oklahoma City after attending Masonic Grand Lodge as delegates from Bwaiver lodge.
