Last Friday around two, Blyde Orndorff’s stable in the town’s west section burned. A horse, a hog, two sets of harness, a spring wagon, feed, and more were destroyed while boys playing with matches sparked the blaze. A bull dog was saved, but livestock perished. The Orndorff family is in Heaver county and the loss exceeds $100 with an insurer.
