The Sabbath message invites all to worship at the Presbyterian Church with Sunday School at 10 a.m and morning service at 11. evening preaching at 7:20. Local greetings note Pastor Laveren and wife retiring on a pleasure trip and report Beaver visitors from LaKemp and Rockland, with condolences for Miss Geaver.
An arrestee released on bond appeared at the county courtroom Saturday for a scheduled court hearing. The bond was signed by Hi D Peckham and J Hanson, who acted as co signers.

A prairie fire swept southwest of town on Wednesday noon as wind aided spread toward Beaver. Local men with teams and plows halted the flames, preventing greater damage. The fire began at G Streuli’s farm on Bix Mile, where attempts to bore off a septic line sparked the blaze and sent flames toward the river.
Fire spread across prairie toward a road by J. H. McCord’s farm after starting near L. Fletel’s home south of EB. No damage reported. Local resident Dick Epperson joins Hannefores. Tanner the veterinarian from LaKemp visits. Mrs Aaron from Floris to receive chiropractic care with Mr and Mrs McVariand.

Mrs Ia Wheaton arrived Sunday from Rok Ileus to be with her sister Mrs Mary Beaver who lay very ill with pneumonia and died Monday morning. Wheaton stayed at Blue Mulled for several days as plans for the funeral were arranged.
