E J Albright returned from Des Moines New Mexico detailing the Santa Fe Liberal Englewood railroad route through Beaver county. He saw hundreds of teams grading and surveyors moving east toward Hooker within two weeks. Grading from Raton to Oklahoma City has been let to contractors seeking sub contractors and crews paid four dollars daily.
Miss Letitia Richards and Lester Gilbert were married by Rev. R. J. Brower at the bride’s parents’ home on Wednesday morning. The ceremony was followed by dinner at noon and the couple departed for a honeymoon with relatives in Roger Mills county. Friends extend congratulations and best wishes.
Mrs. Alice Tandy announces the marriage of her daughter Miss Alice BE Knowles to Mr. A Earl Alkire Sanday on June twenty third nineteen hundred seven at Knowles Oklahoma. The two year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Ralph Hayworth died at her grandparents Esther home at 1 O clock a m June 24 1907 after illness from cholera infantum brain fever. Attending Dr A J Sands and Dr Makomson noted the child but medical skill failed. Funeral from grandparents home Jamison cemetery at 2 pm attended by sympathizing friends.

Residents described a heavy downpour starting around 1 a.m. with water spouts and gully-washers. Douglas avenue flooded like a Mississippi, the Beaver river rose to bank-full levels, and locals noted the rain would do substantial good overall.
The stork visited Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Thomas last night and the newborn is described as a dandy. A separate incident tells of Little Albert Wellborn severely cut by a horsewire accident while playing near a tethered horse on the creek. He was brought to town for treatment and is recovering.

Hamon the Republican State Committee calls a mass convention at Beaver City Oklahoma on July 8 1907 to elect fifteen delegates to the State Convention at Tulane on July 12 1907 to consider nominating a State ticket County Central Committee urged to be present with Ciro H Heady State Committeeman and T P Baampwoom Chair Co Cen Comga.
