W B Severs in county seat Saturday. Clift and Larsen bid best on county cement machine sale. IL Coats traveled from Tyrone to address saloon remonstrance. Mrs O D Smith, aiding Hexary office, is home with severe grippe. John Osborn and family from Pueblo visited relatives then headed north. Beaver youths spent Sunday at Allen's Grove with the Walter Allen family. Mrs F P Madison of Wichita sent a letter inclosing a plank and asks to send the Henano. F P in veterinary hospital and doing well. A Beaver merchant remark on stationery and printers groceries. Charles Laughton of Pronto, Republican candidate for county superintendent, visited Beaver. Dr L S Munsell left for six weeks on Pacific Coast trip.

Reported illness of J C Hodge at Webb's store and a Scots confluence of local happenings including evangelist Mrs Mason and district anecdotes with a religious verse about dishwashing.
Notice warns all persons with accounts and notes due to the late Fr. Madison business that balances are at The Bank of Beaver City and must be settled promptly to avoid collection costs. Also mentions sidewalk repairs and a proposed fine for damage, plus local chatter about a Fruit Growers' Association meeting and various community notes.
The Madison Stock of Goods in Beaver City is being sold by R. M. McConnell of Oklahoma City. Travis is conducting the sale and will continue daily until the stock is closed out. The sale offers good bargains on up to date merchandise and store fixtures.
Randolph county Missouri farmer HL G Wilcox reports a large cattle shipment heading to Beaver county Oklahoma. He notes cheap feed in the region and praises its mild winters for cattle feeding versus Missouri and other locales. He mentions swers and kaffir corn as feed, and compares costs across states.
A quiet wedding occurred Sunday afternoon June 1 at 8 80 oclock uniting Miss Winnie Marvin Holt and J Morris with Rev. C Canter of Tyrone officiating. The ceremony surprised the town due to a rushed date after Mr Morris was injured in a railroad wreck. The bride, daughter of Mrs Jennie Holt of Friendship Oklahoma, is known in Brockery and Hooker for her gracious manners. The groom is beloved by many friends. The Advance joins in wishes for happiness and prosperity as they begin housekeeping in the Lovett property. Beaver friends send wishes for his recovery and a speedy return to health. Grandpa Groves has recovered enough to visit Gene on the North Flat, though vision remains limited.
Obituary notes Curt Holmes formerly of The Bank of Beaver City died in Denver Colorado from consumption after years away pursuing business. Letter from J W Thompson of Uhrichsville Ohio mentions Mrs Thompson’s illness. Local editorial critiques charity subscriptions and urges value for money.
