War Savings Stamps Drive Encourages Public Investment
The U S Government promotes War Savings and Thrift Stamps as safe profitable investments for all. Thrift Stamps cost 25c each with a Thrift Card and allow exchange for a 5 dollar War Savings Stamp. A 5 dollar stamp costs 4.17 when bought before July 1, 1918. War Savings Certificates may reach 100 dollars. Stamps mature to 5 dollars on January 1, 1923 with options to redeem early at 3 percent interest.
