Aged Citizen Morris Passes After Brief Illness

Hugh Morris aged 75 years 2 months died at home northeast of Balko on June 11 after a short illness. He leaves eight children and several grandchildren. Seven children attended funeral services June 14 at Capitol View church. Interment followed at Capitol View cemetery beside his wife Annie L. Jones who died January 8, 1918. The family home region and minor details reflect a close community remembrance.
