Infant dies after brief illness in local family
The infant child of Mr and Mrs Kennedy died Sunday night after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Monday at 1 pm at the Christian Church with Rev. L. Shaw officiating and burial in Reaver Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the grieving parents.

Fishing parties to the popular resort at Blowser's Grove on Clear Creek have become numerous. Splendid Crabapple Specimens From Beaver County Orchard
Dave Evans displayed splendid crabapple specimens from his father W F P Evans's farm along the river. One twig bore twelve large crabs and another nine, with several trees heavily laden. He also showed early Harvest apples, promising considerable fruit despite the drought. The fruit is described as especially good in size and quality for Beaver County orchards.
