The Beaver County public schools held Eighth Grade commencement at the Court House Friday evening. The large room was filled with proud families as graduates performed well. Wade Harold Loofborough won the gold medal for the best overall effort, praised as a manly and studious young man. A lawn reception at Neff restaurant followed, hosted by the Alumni Association.
