Southwestern Construction Company awaits grading machinery and asks townships to lend Fresno Scrapers. Officers should notify Secretary John E. Swaim where scrapers can be found or arrange delivery, to aid railroad grade work and benefit all.
Birth announced for a daughter of Mr and Mrs T J McCall on January 11. Social and business visits feature Fore on Kirnbeach, Clear Lake, Forgan, and Hutchinson. Piano gifts, dances, travel reports, and property notes appear as residents of Beaver City and nearby communities share news of births, visits, moves, and club gatherings.

Buster McKillipn had a birthday last Thursday hosted by his grandmother Mrs. John Webb. She invited many of his little friends to an after party where all the town’s youngsters joined in a merry afternoon. They enjoyed refreshments and several nice presents were given to Buster.
Construction on the railroad grade began with twenty teams and fifty men at work. One thousand feet of grade will be finished by Saturday night as machinery arrives to accelerate progress.
